Precast concrete products are everywhere. They make up the backbone of our infrastructure above and below ground and play a pivotal role in maintaining a clean, healthy and productive environment. The Pennsylvania Precast Association (PPA) focuses on the promotion of precast concrete products to the construction industry – including owners, engineers, contractors, state and local government agencies. PPA has been advocating for the use of precast concrete construction since 1996.
The purpose of the Pennsylvania Precast Association is to:
- Promote the development, preservation, operation, maintenance and general welfare of the precast concrete industry in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Promote the use of precast concrete in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and elsewhere by demonstrating its advantages and benefits
- Foster a spirit of goodwill among those in the precast industry
- Conduct studies and engage in research
- Present the consensus of its members in the establishment of production, design and application standards
- Supply timely information to its members
- Conduct promotions, participate in exhibits and generate publicity for its products
